Kizomba
Kizomba is a musical genre from Angola and Cape Verde, which became popular in Portugal and Brazil. This dance is derived from the Semba, ancestor of the Samba.
In Portugal, the word "Kizomba" is used for any derivative of Zouk music.
The French Caribbean Zouk is also a source of inspiration for the Kizomba.
The Kizomba, as music and dancing, began to enter Europe (starting with Portugal) in recent years. However, the dance style practiced is sometimes far from the style Angolan Semba. This phenomenon is explained by the fact that a significant part of European dancers has a history of Salsa and other Latin dances so they have sounds and gestures different.
Kizomba dance (in the strict sense) is characterized by its languor and sensuality. Descendant of Semba and Tango Congolese, kizomba is called "Tango African".
The trunk, however, remains fixed and flexible, while the lower body is much stronger. Generally, the space in which moves the two dancers is reduced to an absolute minimum and movements, although well developed, are done in it.

Salsa
There are different styles of salsa: Cuban salsa, Puerto Rican Salsa, Colombian Salsa.
We distinguish among the many ways to dance Salsa, three main styles:
- Cuban-style, the most common, particularly in Europe;
- Colombian-style, widely practiced in Latin America;
- Puerto Rican-style, whose characteristic is to dance online.
This style includes several major subclasses: the style of Los Angeles dance "on 1" while the New York Style and Style Palladium dance "on 2".
The original was the "rumba", originally was the "sound". Whatever the name given to the salsa as a dance (Cuban, Puerto Rican, etc.), she was born in the crucible, it draws its expression in these older forms. So if we talk later their differences, let us not forget they also have similarities.
In this trip we offer the Puerto Rican & Cuban Salsa.
Reggaeton
Being able to reproduce the ultra-sexy Shakira appeals? There's only one solution: Reggaeton. Resolutely youthful and festive, this dance latina is a real phenomenon in Europe.
Sexual and very physical, Reggaeton is outrageously effective when it comes to form a perfect body. The dancer is mostly flexed, she works hard thighs, buttocks and hips. But reggaeton is also excellent for the back muscles, chest and arms. Ladies, if you are prone to low back pain and other back problems, you would be better to settle for another smoother dance. With Reggaeton, cardio is not left behind as the rapid succession of movements requires a lot of breath.
Bachata
Bachata is a dancing rhythm full of folklore originating in the Dominican Republic. He considers himself a hybrid blend of Bolero and musical influences from Africa, but also other styles like Son, Merengue, Cha-cha-cha and Tango. First despised because it was considered a poor music, Bachata saw its interest arise from the 80s, with the expansion of massive means of communication, with the peak of tourism, and the efforts of some authors / composers such as Juan Luis Guerra, Víctor Víctor and Luis Dias.
The basic movement of the dance is a series of simple steps that produces a movement back and forth, or side to side. A representative diagram is as follows: with the right foot, make a cast out to the right, then step left next to right foot 2 times. Made as well to the left to return. The fourth time by cons, the closer left toe of right foot. Immediately do the same but starting with the left foot. The character of the dance movement is obtained by a sensual body and hip that keeps a certain similarity with African dances.
This Latin dance is danced generally in the evenings of Salsa where it is inserted at times. Few courses exist yet, but this dance is growing.
Rueda de bachata is a way to dance bachata: several couples do the same figures announced by a person, like rueda de casino.
In 2009, Knzo Mendy was the first dancer represented France at "Africa Danzar" festival, in Lisbon, with the Kizomba. He was the first in France to highlight the Kizomba and Bachata at a festival.
